First of all, thanks to the people who came to the meetings this week! =)
Sholeh and couple other students from New Media Group are doing a promotional video piece to be presented in the Industry Night. Every student has 5-10 seconds to talk, we strongly encourage everyone in all 3 programs to take this chance to showcase your work and skills. If you want to be in part of the video, please let Nicky or Sholeh know by Tuesday August19th.
If you want to attend this year’s Industry Night, please notify your program rep by September 01 (New Meida: Nicky; Animation: Roman; Design Essential: Michelle and Sharon). Nicky will ask every rep for updates.
Theme Suggestions are urgently needed, please submit your suggestions online or email them to Nicky or your program reps by Tuesday Aug 19.

Web/Print Committee Meeting (Aug 13)
Print:

- Spec for invitation received, thanks to Paul.
- Timeline set: final Print Invitation will be out at Sept 06
- Event name and theme decided next week
Web:

- Tasks listed, waiting for volunteers
- Website will be ready before sending out print invitation
Email/Invitation Committee Meeting (Aug 14)
- Chair: Rosa
- Need business list from Terri or Judy
- 2 email reminders will be sent out: 2 weeks and 3 days prior to the event
- Emails will be sent out from a BCIT email account
- Reminder emails will be standardized
- Contact info verified by Sept 4th, and provide to Print Committee for mailing
Layout/Marketing Committee Meeting (Aug 14)
Layout:

- Floorplan request (sent by Nicky to Terri and Judy already)
- Program rep please collect information about what equipment needed for each program
- Arrange a time to go see Radical Entertainment (Photos of last year’s Industry Night available here)
Marketing:

- Listing potential sponsor companies
- Connect with website/print committees to help in sponsorship promotion, need space for sponsorship
