Sorry for the late update, have been very busy with internship stuff this week. ^^”
This week’s meeting summary:
- Radical is not available due to internal reason, so we have Downtown Campus, and couple others.
- After contacting, Art Gallery is not available due to the cost is too high (3000+).
- Sharon has contacted ScotiaBank Dance Centre, got the info, will post here later.
- Terri is going for vacation from next Wedn, so we will have a meeting on Tuesday.
- Next week we will decide the venue, and get the committees to get together as soon as possible.
- One suggestion was to have reps in every committee for every program.
Emails will be sent to committees during the weekend for first meeting.
That’s about it this week. Will get some stuff done during the weekend, and hopefully everything start moving soon.

Terri also mentioned in the meeting that the ScotiaBank Dance Centre may not be suitable for our event because the max occupancy is only 200 people. I think the venue is good but the space is a bit tight. She was also going to check with the Great northern way campus and get back to us regarding that location.
In regards to committee meetings, I think that would be a good idea to have one print, one web etc.. rep from each program attend the committee meetings. The rep could communicate with the volunteers from their programs– those who were also interested in that committee. Just a suggestion to make it easier to schedule meetings…
I will look at everyone’s schedule today, and send the free slots to the program reps. Then we will decide on which slots for which committees to meet.
After the first meeting, committees need to meet on their own, and each committee rep will need to present the decision at the general meeting. =)
